Golden AdVANtures

Golden AdVANtures is a small blog website run by a young and adventurous married couple, Carver and Lauren Buis. Golden AdVANtures was started for one purpose and goal only, fun. However, helping inspire others to build the DIY camper van of their dreams is a huge plus that Carver and Lauren both take very seriously.

Golden AdVANtures is primarily for joy alone and functions through social media influence. They have created YouTube videos that detail their van build, write blogs, sell digital products, such as their van layout, and share their travels on Instagram. Both Carver and Lauren have full time jobs, but use Amazon affiliate links and YouTube to make money monthly on the side. They also work very hard to answer their followers’ questions about anything and everything with complete transparency in order to help provide information from their experiences that may be able to help. Their hope is to build more vans and release more content in the future.

I met Lauren in January of 2021 when I was looking for a little bit of extra help with my own company. Golden AdVANtures is a recent rebrand of their old website, Fur & Fam, and she approached me asking for a new logo to help tie in the website’s new design and brand recognizability. We worked together to brainstorm something fun that ties the name of their company into their logo and keeps their name consistent across social media. The name Golden AdVANtures is inspired by their two beloved golden retrievers, adventures and of course, their van. This project was very small, but very fun! I love getting to know my clients and providing what they need, no matter the size or needs of the project.
